What I really really hate is the fact that suddenly when there's a man in the situation, so many times it starts to feel as though your friend needs to hide that they're hanging out with you. It's happened to me so many times and it's always infuriating because damn, it's not like I'm trying to get your girl strung out on drugs or taking her out to pick up dudes. I refuse to be a secret friend to another adult woman these days. It just feels dirty and weird.
